Mrs. Rodriguez Class
Hello and welcome to Ikard! My name is Mrs. Rodriguez. I received a Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Tarleton State University in 2017. I supported many BBBS programs throughout Dallas and Irving, realizing that I could do more for my communities, Littles, and their families. It was at this point that I acted on my ambitions and transitioned into teaching.
As a lifelong learner, I look forward to the ways in which students will teach me too. I believe that learning is alive and mistakes are stepping stones in the right direction- opportunities to grow our resilience and grounds to engage our creativity.
Bringing my background in social work into the field, I work to meet each student where they are at. My mission? To teach the whole, one of a kind, and important child we both support. The goal? To aid learners to realize skills that will support them beyond the classroom and into an everchanging world.
