A little bit about me

Welcome to 3rd grade! I have been in education since 2018 and teaching at Ikard since 2022. I have taught first grade, and third grade. I am looking forward to teaching your scholar because I am passionate about instilling a love of reading and life-long learning in children. I also enjoy challenging students to reach their greatest potential.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas and my alternative teaching certification from the iTeach Texas program . Outside of school, I am a mom to my son, Wyatt, who is in 5th grade here at Ikard. My husband, Jeremy, is a U.S. Navy Senior Chief. I enjoy reading, antiquing, and going to concerts. I am so excited for this school year and I vow to make this an amazing year full of fun, learning, and growth. Please reach out to me at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
