Welcome to Ikard Elementary!

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of Ikard Elementary. I have been an educator for more than 30 years and am beginning my 27th year with Weatherford ISD. Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Each of these experiences has strengthened my belief that every child can learn, grow, and achieve at high levels when surrounded by caring adults who believe in them.

Weatherford ISD is very special to my family. My two children attended WISD schools and proudly graduated from the district. Because of this, I understand our schools not only as an educator and administrator, but also as a parent.

I am deeply committed to making Ikard Elementary the very best school it can be. My focus is on academic excellence for every student while creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where children feel valued and inspired to reach their full potential.

I believe strong partnerships between the school, families, and community are essential to student success. By working together, we can help every child become the very best version of themselves.
