All About Mrs. Murphy

My name is Brandy Murphy and I teach First Grade. I taught Third Grade for three years before moving to First Grade. I absolutely LOVE teaching students to read and grow their love for reading. 

 

My husband, Judd, and I were high school sweethearts. We have a daughter, Preslee, who goes to school in Weatherford and loves to play volleyball. That is what we do in our spare time, anything volleyball! I love spending time with my family.

 

I attended school in Weatherford from K-12 grade. I loved it so much that I have now worked for Weatherford ISD for almost all of my working career. I worked as a paraprofessional while working on my Bachelors Degree which I obtained from Western Governors University. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and I love getting to make my dreams come true every day.
