Welcome to Tays Terrific 2nd Grade

My name is Angela Tays and I teach 2nd grade at Ikard Elementary. This will be my 6th year of teaching at Elementary Level. I taught PreSchool for 7 years prior. This will be my second year teaching in Texas. I am excited to be a ROO in Weatherford and here at Ikard.

I graduated from Western Governors University with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and Bachelors in Elementary Education.

My husband and I moved to Texas in the summer of 2022 from Indiana. We were both born and raised Hoosiers. We have 1 daughter, 1 son, and 1 grandson. I also have 2 cats.

As previously mentioned, I am excited to be here and we are going to have a great year in 2nd grade!
